Artistic approach
"The" Forests "series was born from an immersion in the heart of Canadian primary forests and the desire to throw on the canvas the colors of these grandiose landscapes, the phosphorescent greens of the mosses, the emeralds of the lakes, the brick red of the mountains ... Rather than forests, we should speak of "wilderness", an English term which evokes the profusion and exuberance of plant life, nature not corrected by the hand of man ... "
